Premiering Tuesday inside IFC’s Comedy Crib, an online comedy destination, Hyundai is integrated into 12 new webisodes of the Web series Sound Advice starring SNL’s Vanessa Bayer.

Each episode opens with a custom Hyundai integration featuring Bayer as she cruises the town in a Hyundai Veloster.

“At Hyundai we know we need to reach car shoppers in a variety of ways,” said David Matathia, director, Marketing Communications, Hyundai Motor America. “The partnership with Sound Advice allows us to share a different side of our brand – we are able to connect with a passionate audience and show them that we’re in on the joke and don’t take ourselves too seriously.”

Sound Advice follows clueless media coach Janessa Slater (played by Bayer) as she advises (and insults) talented musicians trying to improve their image, despite knowing nothing about music.

The premiere episode of the season features guest “Weird Al” Yankovic and Slater’s upcoming clients include Chromeo, HAIM, Nick Jonas, Jenny Lewis, Leighton Meester, Sleater-Kinney, The Vamps and many more. Slater was a consultant with superstars Drake, The Wanted, Demi Lovato and FUN.

The series is produced by Above Average, an online comedy network division of Broadway Video. The premiere episode will also air inside IFC’s original series Comedy Bang! Bang! on Friday, February 27.

“The Comedy Crib is IFC’s online home for funny stuff made by very, very serious people,” said Colin Moore, vice president, digital media & alternative content, IFC. “Hyundai’s sponsorship of the Crib and integration in each episode of Sound Advice is the perfect way for our fans to experience their brand — inside one of the funniest Web series out there.”

INNOCEAN USA, Hyundai Motor America’s agency of record, provided creative direction and leadership for the custom Hyundai integration within the Sound Advice Web series.
