The kangaroo, one of nature’s most unusual and interesting creatures, is the focus of the latest installment of Mutual of Omaha’s Wild Kingdom web series.

It features Wild Guide Stephanie Arne and the kangaroos of Tanganyika Wildlife Park in Wichita, Kan.

“The kangaroo is such a unique and fascinating creature, I’m thrilled that Wild Kingdom can give our viewers close-up views of an animal that is so closely associated with Australia,” Arne said. “I am especially excited about our ability to observe and share videos of joeys in their mothers’ pouches.”

Other topics Wild Kingdom is exploring in the third installment of its web series include:

Leopard cubs – Snow and clouded leopard cubs from Tanganyika Wildlife Park, which is helping preserve this species with the largest breeding collection of clouded leopards in the world.

Sea otters – Sea otters from the Monterey Bay Aquarium in Monterey, Calif., as they romp, tumble, wrestle, and amaze.

Manatees – Swimming demonstrated by manatees, despite their massive size. You can learn more about these gentle giants at the Mote Marine Laboratory and Aquarium in Sarasota, Fla.
