Paramount Pictures’ Transformers: Age of Extinction, which made its worldwide debut with an impressive weekend earnings of $301.3 million, continues its strides in the global movie markets.

According to movies performance measurement company Rentrak Corporation (NASDAQ: RENT), the film directed by Michael Bay, has already touched $900 million mark at the box office.

Rentrak announced Sunday the worldwide weekend box office estimates for the weekend of July 20, 2014 as compiled by the company’s Box Office Essentials and International Box Office Essentials theatrical measurement services.

“Transformers: Age of Extinction” continues to impress in the international markets with $81.2 million and a global total pushing in on $900 million,” said Rentrak’s senior media analyst Paul Dergarabedian.

Rentrak is the entertainment and marketing industries’ leading provider of worldwide consumer viewership information, measuring actual viewing behavior of movies and TV everywhere.
