To celebrate the launch of the movie, The Identical, restaurant chain Zaxby is offering a free song download from the movie’s soundtrack each week at participating locations from now through Sept. 28.

Rolling out in theatres Sept. 5, The Identical is a drama set in the South in the 1950s during rock ‘n’ roll’s heyday.

As an extension of the partnership, race fans will recognize the film title from the Zaxby’s team car, which has been carrying movie graphics since July 19.

Driver John Wes Townley makes a cameo with the Zaxby’s team car in the music video for the title track, “Bee Boppin’ Baby,” from the all-original soundtrack.

The Identical tells the story of twin brothers unknowingly separated at birth during the Great Depression. Drexel Hemsley becomes an iconic 50’s rock ‘n’ roll star, while Ryan Wade (Blake Rayne) struggles to balance his love for music and pleasing his father.

The Rev. Wade (Liotta) and his wife (Judd) are sure their adopted son has been gifted and called by God to be a preacher. But Ryan challenges his parent’s vision for his life, and unflinchingly chooses to launch his own music career with his best friend (Seth Green).

Performed by lead actor, Blake Rayne, “Bee Boppin’ Baby,” is the title track for The Identical movie’s 20-plus original songs, all produced and co-written by Motown legend, Jerry Marcellino.

During his career, Jerry Marcellino has composed and produced songs for Grammy-winning icons including Michael Jackson, Diana Ross, The Jackson 5, The Supremes and Eddie Money.

The Identical movie soundtrack will be released by City of Peace and Capital Records. Zaxby’s fans may visit participating locations or visit the website to download a new exclusive track each week.
