The War Against the Machines is coming to beverage aisles. Big Red red soda announced its partnership Tuesday with Paramount Pictures to support the upcoming July 1 theatrical release of Paramount Pictures and Skydance Productions’ “Terminator Genisys” starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jason Clarke, Emilia Clarke, and Jai Courtney.

The collaboration between the soda company and the reset of the blockbuster action movie franchise will focus on driving awareness for “Terminator Genisys” in retail channels and social media.

Beginning May 18, “Terminator Genisys” fans can take home limited-edition Big Red and Big Red Zero products that feature the movie’s main characters, including Sarah Connor (Emilia Clarke) and the T-800 and T-1000 Terminators.

Additionally, select markets will also be introduced to Big Red Vintage Reset, a “Terminator Genisys”-inspired version of Retro Big Red, which is made with pure cane sugar. The limited-time Big Red Vintage Reset will come exclusively in a16-ounce aluminum can.

To promote the partnership on social media, Big Red has teamed up with the video messaging app Dubsmash to host the Big Red #Dubinator contest beginning June 6 at BigRed.com/Terminator.

The contest will award one participant with an exclusive Terminator experience that includes a behind-the-scenes tour of Paramount Pictures Studios and a meet-and-greet with members of the “Terminator Genisys” production team.
