
98th Oscars Production Team Announced as Conan O’Brien Prepares to Host 2026 Ceremony

LOS ANGELES, CA – The creative leadership for the upcoming 98th Oscars has been finalized. Executive producer and showrunner Raj Kapoor and executive producer Katy Mullan officially announced the production team that will join host Conan O’Brien for the ceremony, which is scheduled to air live on Sunday, March 15, 2026.
The production marks the return of several key veterans to the telecast. Rob Paine will serve as co-executive producer, while Hamish Hamilton returns to the director’s chair. Producers Taryn Hurd and Sarah Levine Hall are also rejoining the team. Additionally, Jeff Ross and Mike Sweeney have been tapped to return as producers for a second time.
The writing staff for the 98th Oscars features an extensive lineup of talent, including Amberia Allen, José Arroyo, Josh Comers, Dan Cronin, Jessie Gaskell, Skyler Higley, Berkley Johnson, Ian Karmel, Brian Kiley, Laurie Kilmartin, Carol Leifer, Todd Levin, Jon Macks, Matt O’Brien, Agathe Panaretos, Mike Sweeney, and the show’s host, Conan O’Brien.

The technical and creative departments will see the return of several Emmy Award-winning professionals. The team includes:
- Michael Bearden as music director.
- Misty Buckley and Alana Billingsley as production designers.
- Bob Dickinson and Noah Mitz as lighting designers.
- Mandy Moore as supervising choreographer.
The ceremony will be held at the Dolby Theatre at Ovation Hollywood and will be broadcast live on ABC and streamed on Hulu at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT. Reaching a massive international scale, the show is expected to air in more than 200 territories worldwide.
The 98th Oscars is presented by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, a global organization representing a membership of more than 11,000 accomplished film industry artists and leaders.
