On his 44th birthday, superstar Allu Arjun officially unveiled the title and first-look poster for his highly anticipated collaboration with director Atlee. Now titled Raaka (formerly AA22xA6), the film is set for a pan-India release across nine different languages, including Hindi and English.
The first-look poster showcases Arjun in a “devilish avatar,” utilizing prosthetic makeup to portray a character of an older age. The striking image features kohl-rimmed eyes and a large claw emerging from woollen attire, accompanied by the caption, “Prepare yourself for a vision beyond limits”.
Produced by Sun Pictures, the sci-fi action drama is rumored to be an ambitious narrative that may explore the concept of parallel universes. Reports suggest Allu Arjun will take on the challenge of playing four distinct characters, representing three generations: a grandfather, a father, and two sons. While these plot details remain officially unconfirmed, the production has secured a powerhouse cast, including Deepika Padukone in a pivotal role.

The scale of Raaka is reflected in its staggering ₹800 crore reported budget. Financial reports indicate that Allu Arjun is set to earn approximately ₹175 crore for the film, along with a backend deal for a 15% stake in the profits. Director Atlee will reportedly charge ₹100 crore for the project. A significant portion of the investment is dedicated to high-end visuals, with ₹250 crore allocated for VFX and ₹200 crore for production costs.
