BBC Comedy has officially announced a brand-new YouTube spin-off series titled What Have You Done?, based on the BAFTA and RTS award-winning sitcom Things You Should Have Done. Created by and starring Lucia Keskin, the series is produced by Roughcut Television, the production house behind hits like People Just Do Nothing and Stath Lets Flats.
The new show features the “dysfunctional but lovable” hosts Chi (Lucia Keskin) and Lucas (Jamie Bisping), who invite eight bewildered celebrities to join them on a pedalo on Ramsgate Boating Lake. During these nautical interviews, guests discuss things they wish they had done in their lives, as well as confessions about moments they regret.
The star-studded guest lineup includes Big Zuu, Kate Garraway, Sam Campbell, Tia Kofi, Konnie Huq, Tamzin Outhwaite, Lou Sanders, and Josh Pugh. This digital expansion is part of a broader BBC strategy to commission short-form, personality-driven content designed to engage new audiences across both YouTube and BBC iPlayer.
Jon Petrie, BBC Director of Comedy, expressed excitement about “exploring comedy on YouTube from the vantage point of Chi’s pedalo,” thanking the guests for “gamely” climbing aboard. Ash Atalla, CEO of Roughcut, noted that while making comedy is difficult, this project was “a tiny bit easier because it was shorter”.
The first two episodes are available to watch now on the official BBC YouTube channel and BBC iPlayer, with additional episodes scheduled for weekly release. Fans can also stream the first two series of the original show, Things You Should Have Done, on BBC iPlayer.
