The Avatar sequel earned a staggering $245.2 million worldwide over the weekend, with $181.2 million of that total coming from international territories. This performance has pushed the film’s total cumulative earnings to over $760 million across 52 international markets and 20 domestic locations.
Not far behind in overall success is “Zootopia 2,” which has now surpassed the $1.4 billion mark in total cumulative global earnings. During the most recent weekend, the animated sequel added another $87.9 million to its total, maintaining a strong presence in 53 international territories.
