LOS ANGELES — The global box office saw a dominant performance from international titles during the weekend ending February 22, 2026, with the high-flying sequel Pegasus 3 taking the #1 spot worldwide, according to the latest estimates from Comscore.
Pegasus 3 commanded the charts with a massive $152,169,000 weekend, fueled entirely by international territories. This strong performance brings its cumulative global total to $372,856,300. Following in the second spot was Blades of the Guardians, which earned $50,828,300 over the weekend, pushing its total cume past the $101 million mark.
The top five was rounded out by Scare Out, which took in $41,462,000, and the literary adaptation Wuthering Heights, which earned $40,500,000. Unlike the top three films which relied almost exclusively on international markets, Wuthering Heights saw a significant domestic contribution of $14.2 million for the weekend. Similarly, the animated feature Boonie Bears: The Hidden Protector maintained a strong presence at #5 with a $35,713,000 weekend haul.
Other notable performances include:
- GOAT earned $34,000,000 for the weekend, split evenly between domestic and international markets ($17 million each), bringing its total cume to $102,301,000.
- Crime 101 landed at #9, earning $11,972,551 across 76 territories.
While it sat at #10 for the weekend with $9.7 million, Disney’s Zootopia 2 continues to be the season’s biggest story. The animated sequel has reached a staggering worldwide cumulative total of $1,848,521,131, solidifying its place as a historic blockbuster.
