Leading the charge was the debut of Wuthering Heights, which claimed the number one spot with a worldwide opening of $76.8 million. The film saw a strong international performance, drawing $42 million from 77 territories alongside $34.8 million in domestic earnings.

The top three positions for the weekend were all held by newcomers. GOAT secured the second-place ranking with a worldwide weekend total of $41.6 million, notably overperforming in the domestic market with $26 million.
