Disney continues its reign over the international theatrical market according to the latest performance rankings. Avatar: Fire and Ash secured the top spot for the weekend, pulling in a worldwide total of $86.9 million across 53 international territories and 20 domestic locations. This latest haul brings the film’s massive worldwide cumulative total to over $1.23 billion.

While the Avatar sequel led the weekend charts, Zootopia 2 continues to be a powerhouse in terms of overall longevity. Despite landing in second place for the weekend with $40.9 million, the animated sequel has achieved the highest overall success in the rankings, reaching a staggering worldwide cumulative total of $1.65 billion. This performance is heavily supported by its international reach, which accounts for $1.27 billion of its total earnings.

The middle of the pack saw diverse entries, with The Housemaid earning $36.7 million for the weekend and bringing its cumulative total to $192.4 million. Newcomer The Raja Saab followed in fourth place, generating $19.8 million in its debut across 16 territories.

The bottom half of the top ten featured a mix of debuts and established hits:

  • Primate entered the charts at number five with $13.4 million.
  • Greenland 2: Migration followed closely with $12.81 million.
  • The thriller Anaconda earned $12.8 million, crossing the $110 million cumulative mark.
  • The Spongebob Movie: Search for Squarepants brought in $12.2 million, reaching a total of $132.2 million to date.
  • Marty Supreme and Back to the Past rounded out the list with $10.7 million and $7.2 million respectively,.
