On February 5, 2026, Apple Arcade will significantly expand its gaming catalog with the launch of Sid Meier’s Civilization VII Arcade Edition. This arrival brings the award-winning AAA PC strategy experience to mobile and desktop users, making it playable across iPhone, iPad, and Mac.
In this pivotal new chapter of the iconic series, players are tasked with building the “greatest empire the world has ever known” by guiding their civilizations through distinct ages of human history. The game features intuitive touch controls specifically designed for iPhone and iPad, allowing players to manage territories, lead armies, and navigate complex diplomacy or warfare with rival civilizations. Civilization VII joins a growing list of popular PC titles recently ported to the service, including PowerWash Simulator and Cult of the Lamb Arcade Edition.
New Titles and Retro Experiences
Beyond the strategy epic, three other games will debut on the service on February 5:
- Retrocade: Designed for Apple Vision Pro (and also playable on iPhone and iPad), this title transports players to a neon-drenched 80s arcade. It features classic hits such as Asteroids, Centipede, and Galaga, recreating the original gameplay experience without the need for quarters.
- Felicity’s Door: A brand-new rhythm game that follows characters Tom and Felicity through a magical world of dreams, spanning deep space and cyberpunk cities.
- I Love Hue Too+: A psychedelic puzzle game where players must bring order to “chromatic chaos” by arranging colored tiles into perfect spectrums.
Upcoming Events and Pricing
Before the February launches, Apple Arcade will host a special event on January 22 in Crayola Create and Play+. This limited-time crossover features Paddington in a “special snowy day” adventure involving winter-themed activities like building snowmen and cozy coloring.
Apple Arcade is currently available for INR 99 per month, providing a family of up to six people unlimited access to over 200 games without ads or in-app purchases. Customers who purchase a new iPhone, iPad, Mac, or Apple TV are eligible for three months of the service for free. The service is also included in Apple One’s monthly plans starting at INR 195.
