STOCKHOLM — The wait is nearly over for fans of the hit reality social experiment. On March 9, 2026, Netflix officially debuted the trailer for the third season of Love is Blind: Sweden, offering a first look at the emotional journeys of a new group of singles.
The highly anticipated series is scheduled to premiere globally on Netflix on Thursday, March 12, 2026.
The Experiment Returns
Hosted by Jessica Almenäs, the 10-episode series continues the unique premise where singles date without ever seeing one another. The goal is to determine if a deep emotional bond can be formed based on personality alone, regardless of looks, race, or age.
Once a couple gets engaged, they meet face-to-face for the very first time. The show then follows them over the course of five weeks as they move in together and plan their wedding. Ultimately, the participants must decide if their “blind” love can survive the physical realities and external factors of the real world.
New Release Format and Bonus Content
Netflix has revealed a staggered release schedule for the new season, with episodes dropping in weekly batches starting at 08:00 CET. In a new addition for fans, the season will also include three extra reaction episodes featuring influencers sharing their takes on the couples’ journeys.
The release schedule is as follows:
- Batch 1 (March 12): Episodes 1–4 plus one reaction episode.
- Batch 2 (March 19): Episodes 5–7 plus one reaction episode.
- Batch 3 (March 26): Episodes 8–9 plus one reaction episode.
- Batch 4 (Reunion): The date for the final reunion episode is yet to be announced.
Production Details
The series is produced by Mastiff, with a production team including producers Anna Nygren and Elias Malmberg, and executive producers Caroline Claesson, Andreas Johansson, and Matilda Snöwall.
This announcement comes as part of a busy week for the streaming giant, which also recently unveiled trailers for other upcoming projects, including the final chapter of High Tides and the second season of Gangs of Galicia.
