Famed for its relaxing and tranquil surrounds, the Maldives played host to an extravagant launch party last Friday where Nicole Scherzinger was invited to perform.
She helped launch The Sun Siyam Iru Fushi – the flagship branded property of the new Sun Siyam Resorts in the presence of President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom and local entrepreneur Ahmed Siyam Mohamed.
The entertainment for the evening included artists from the capital Male, local / neighbouring Maldivian islands and also from Sri Lanka with the surprise headlining act being revealed as Nicole Scherzinger.
Nicole performed some of her most famous tracks, including the renowned Pussycat Dolls ‘Don’t Cha’ and ‘Right There’ from her album ‘Killer Love’.
She performed on a large stage constructed on the white sands just meters from the turquoise sea and under a star-lit sky where she wowed the invited audience with an incredible 45-minute set.
The Sun Siyam Iru Fushi is located in the Noonu Atoll Maldives. The hotel features 221 luxury ocean-front villas, including 70 over-water bungalows, 11 bar and restaurant choices, a 20-room tropical spa, and range of activities and local explorations.
