Paramount Pictures will release Terminator Genisys, an upcoming science fiction action film, on July 1, 2015.
The fifth theatrical film in the Terminator series, it is directed by Alan Taylor and written by Laeta Kalogridis and Patrick Lussier.
Principal photography for Terminator Genisys began on April 21, 2014 in New Orleans, and ended on August 6, 2014 in San Francisco.
Arnold Schwarzenegger reprises his role as the titular character, along with newcomers Jason Clarke, Emilia Clarke, Jai Courtney, Matt Smith, Lee Byung-hun and J. K. Simmons.
