LAS VEGAS, Jan. 6, 2026 — LG Electronics (LG) and the global gaming lifestyle brand Razer have officially unveiled the Razer Wolverine V3 Bluetooth, marking a significant milestone in cloud gaming performance at CES 2026. This new device is the first to be certified under LG’s newly launched “Designed for LG Gaming Portal” program, a certification initiative created to ensure optimal interoperability, connectivity, and reduced latency between gaming peripherals and LG’s gaming ecosystem.

The Razer Wolverine V3 Bluetooth is being hailed as the world’s fastest gaming controller, featuring a groundbreaking response time of under 3 milliseconds. Designed specifically for a seamless wireless experience on LG webOS-powered TVs, the controller utilizes ultra-low latency Bluetooth technology and includes integrated TV controls alongside pro-grade features to provide players with precise command over their gameplay.

The launch of this controller coincides with the introduction of the “Designed for LG Gaming Portal” certification program. According to the sources, this program aims to enhance the player experience by establishing high standards for gaming gear, specifically focusing on how controllers interact with the LG Gaming Portal. This initiative builds upon LG’s existing reputation in the gaming sector; the company’s 2025 OLED TV models were the first to support high-end 4K 120Hz HDR cloud gaming via GeForce Now.

“We are proud to introduce Wolverine V3 Bluetooth as the first controller certified for LG Gaming Portal,” stated Chris Jo, head of the webOS Platform Business Center at the LG Media Entertainment Solution Company. Jo emphasized that the controller’s quick responsiveness will allow gamers to maintain control during fast-paced action, effectively turning high-speed performance into competitive wins.

Attendees at CES 2026 could view the Wolverine V3 Bluetooth at The Preview, as well as at the dedicated LG and Razer booths. This announcement was part of a broader showcase of LG’s 2026 innovations, which also included the world’s thinnest wireless OLED TV and new AI-powered lifestyle products.

To understand the impact of this new technology, you might think of the connection between a controller and a TV like a high-speed conversation. In the past, there was a slight “lag” or delay in the dialogue, but this new ultra-low latency Bluetooth acts like a real-time translator, ensuring that the moment you speak (or press a button), the response is heard and acted upon instantly without a single stutter.
