Public voting is now open and will remain available until 12:00 PM on Friday, February 20, 2026. Film fans can cast their votes through the official website at ee.co.uk/BAFTA, via WhatsApp, or across EE’s social media platforms.
The final winner will be crowned on Sunday, February 22, 2026, during the EE BAFTA Film Awards ceremony. Hosted by Alan Cumming, the event will take place at the Southbank Centre’s Royal Festival Hall and will be broadcast on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
By participating in the vote, the public joins a 21-year tradition of identifying future icons of the screen, with previous winners including Tom Hardy, Daniel Kaluuya, and last year’s recipient, Mia McKenna-Bruce.
