The Marvel Cinematic Universe’s favorite wall-crawler is officially back in action. Production has officially commenced on the highly anticipated sequel, Spider-Man: Brand New Day, which is slated to arrive exclusively in theaters on July 31, 2026.
Over the weekend of August 2, 2025, fans were treated to the first glimpses of the hero’s updated aesthetic. Following a sneak peek on Friday, lead actor Tom Holland took to social media the next day to reveal the full costume to the public. This film marks Peter Parker’s long-awaited return to the big screen following the “trajectory-altering” events of Spider-Man: No Way Home.
Acclaimed filmmaker Destin Daniel Cretton is set to direct the feature, which once again stars Holland in the titular role. The project’s title and early details were previously unveiled at CinemaCon 2025.
