Warner Bros. Consumer Products (WBCP) and Global Experience Specialists (GES) announced Thursday the second extension of the global tour of Harry Potter: The Exhibition.
It is a 15,000 square-foot experiential exhibition featuring thousands of authentic costumes, props and creatures from the films.
Harry Potter: The Exhibition can currently be seen at Super Brand Mall in Shanghai, China and will be followed by additional tour stops in cities to be announced.
Experienced by more than 3.5 million fans, Harry Potter: The Exhibition made its world premiere in Chicago in April 2009, followed by stops in Boston, Toronto, Seattle, New York, Sydney, Singapore, Tokyo, Edmonton, Sweden, Cologne and Paris.
“We are thrilled to extend the exhibition’s tour with Warner Bros. Consumer Products,” said Robin Stapley, vice president of creative and design, GES. “Harry Potter: The Exhibition has excited fans for the past seven years and we are so pleased to continue the magic.”
In collaboration with Warner Bros. Consumer Products, GES created the 15,000 square-foot (1,400 square-meters) experiential exhibition, where visitors are able to enjoy dramatic displays inspired by the Hogwarts film sets and see the craftsmanship behind authentic costumes, props and creatures from the films.
