BET continues to celebrate Black History Month and showcase the diversity of the African-American experience with the broadcast network premiere of Free Angela And All Political Prisoners—Premieres, Wednesday, Feb. 26 at 10:00 P.M. ET/PT on BET.

The political-crime-drama documentary, will kick off BET’s new movie programming block “Keeping It Reel” airing every Wednesday night.

Free Angela And All Political Prisoners tells the story of how a young professor’s social justice activism implicates her in a botched kidnapping attempt that ends with a bloody shootout, four dead, and her name on the FBI’s 10 most wanted list.

Free Angela And All Political Prisoners is a film by Shola Lynch, presented by Realside Productions, Black Entertainment Television Networks and De Films en Aiguille.

Directed and written by Shola Lynch. Executive Producers Overbrook Entertainment and Roc Nation. Free Angela And All Political Prisoners was distributed theatrically by Codeblack Films, a Lionsgate company.
