Grit to Celebrate Veterans Day with Movie Marathon

The new broadcast television network Grit will celebrate Veterans Day 2014 with an all-day movie marathon on Tuesday, Nov. 11, beginning at 7:00 a.m.

The eight movies to be showcased include John Wayne’s Academy Award-winning performance in The Sands of Iwo Jima, the multiple Oscar-winning The Killing Fields, Clint Eastwood leading the charge in Kelly’s Heroes, the moving Vietnam veterans story In Country starring Bruce Willis and Lee Marvin in The Big Red One.

Grit will show the following movies on Tuesday:

  • 7:00 a.m. The Victors
  • 9:00 a.m. Battle Hymn
  • 12:15 p.m. The Big Red One
  • 2:30 p.m. Brass Target
  • 4:45 p.m. Kelly’s Heroes
  • 8:00 p.m. In Country
  • 10:30 p.m. The Killing Fields
  • 1:30 a.m. The Sands of Iwo Jima

Grit TV targets men 25-54 with a heavy focus on western, war and action theatrical motion pictures.
