Sony Pictures, in association with Ghost House Pictures, announced Tuesday the title for their upcoming (previously untitled) Fede Alvarez thriller: DON’T BREATHE.

The film had its world premiere at SXSW in Austin over the weekend as part of the Midnighters series at the festival. The movie will open in theaters on August 26th.

In the terrifying thriller DON’T BREATHE, a group of friends break into the house of a wealthy blind man, thinking they’ll get away with the perfect heist. They’re wrong.

DON’T BREATHE stars Jane Levy (EVIL DEAD), Dylan Minnette (GOOSEBUMPS), Daniel Zovatto (IT FOLLOWS), and Stephen Lang (AVATAR).

Many of the same team behind 2013’s EVIL DEAD are back, including director Fede Alvarez, writers Fede Alvarez & Rodo Sayagues, producers Sam Raimi and Rob Tapert, and executive producers Nathan Kahane, Joe Drake, and J.R. Young.

In addition, Fede Alvarez is serving as producer and Erin Westerman and Mathew Hart are executive producers.
