Universal Pictures and Imagine Entertainment present the world premiere of GET ON UP at the Apollo Theater in Harlem Monday, July 21, 2014.

GET ON UP director / producer Tate Taylor; producers Brian Grazer, Mick Jagger, Victoria Pearman, Erica Huggins; cast members Chadwick Boseman, Nelsan Ellis, Dan Aykroyd, Fred Melamed, Craig Robinson, Jill Scott, Josh Hopkins, Brandon Smith, Tika Sumpter, Tariq Trotter, Keith Robinson, Alvin Edney and Jamell Richardson; cast member / choreographer Aakomon Jones; writers / executive producers Jez Butterworth & John-Henry Butterworth; writer Steven Baigelman; executive producers Peter Afterman, Trish Hofmann, John Norris, Anna Culp; and very special guests: members of the James Brown family are expected to attend.

The premiere for GET ON UP will take place at the Apollo Theater, 253 West 125th Street, New York City, NY. The screening will begin at 7:30 PM.

GET ON UP arrives in theaters on Friday, August 1, 2014.
