The 65th Berlin International Film Festival will take place from February 5 to 15, 2015, but starting in mid-January, the Berlinale poster will be displayed at Potsdamer Platz and across the city to set the mood for the festival.

The focus of the 2015 Berlinale key visual is the stage curtain.

“The glamorous and suspense-packed second that precedes every cinema experience is when the curtain opens to reveal the screen. This year’s poster motif aims to stir anticipation for that magical moment”, says festival director Dieter Kosslick.

For the fifth time, the key motif of the Berlinale was designed by BOROS agency and will adorn different festival publications.
