FilmBox Brand Channels Coming to Xtra TV in Ukraine

FilmBox, 360TuneBox, FilmBox ArtHouse, Fast&FunBox, DocuBox, FashionBox, and FightBox channels are soon going to be launched on satellite television service Xtra TV, one of Ukraine’s top DTH platforms.

The seven channels from the SPI International worldwide channel portfolio will be available in a new Xtra TV package. In order to receive the signal from all the new channels Ukrainian TV viewers will need to have a satellite receiver that supports DVB-S2 Mpeg- 4 SD / HD standard.

“This new package will complement Xtra TV offer for Ukraine, not only with HD channels (Fast&FunBox, DocuBox, FashionBox and FightBox), but also with new features: independent music videos, fashion shows, movies by independent filmmakers as well as a healthy dose of 24/7 sports content including motorsports, extreme sport disciplines and live broadcast of fight events from Europe and the United States,” says James Phillipoff, CEO for Istil Telecom Ukraine LLC.

Satellite television service Xtra TV is a prepaid satellite TV without a written contract, which is commercialized on the territory of Ukraine by Istil Telecom Ukraine.
