HBO Max Completes Key Asia Pacific Expansion
Starting June 16, 2026, Warner Bros. Discovery’s premier streaming service, HBO Max, is officially available direct-to-consumer in New Zealand and Vietnam. This milestone marks the completion of the service’s rollout in key Southeast Asian and Australia/New Zealand (ANZ) territories. With these additions, HBO Max is now live in more than 35 markets across the Asia Pacific region.

A Diverse Library of Global and Local Content
Subscribers in these new markets gain immediate access to a deep catalog of entertainment from iconic brands such as HBO, Warner Bros., the DC Universe, and Harry Potter. The library includes award-winning series like The Last of Us, The White Lotus, Succession, and Game of Thrones, alongside fan favorites like Friends and The Big Bang Theory.

In Vietnam specifically, the service is catering to local tastes by featuring exclusive Korean entertainment, including titles such as The Legend of Kitchen Soldier and Filing For Love.
