Desigual was first out of the gate at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid (Sept. 11–16, 2014). The brand’s debut at the show was also a first for lead model Alessandra Ambrosio.
Desigual showcased a collection that paid homage to women through compliments. The Spring-Summer 15 collection “Say Something Nice” is an exotic, psychedelic journey through time, where words come to life in the form of geometric shapes, daisies, hearts, galactics, brush strokes and colors. The brand celebrated its 30th birthday.
Several figures from the world of fashion, film, TV and sport shared this journey with Manel Jadraque, Desigual’s CEO and executive product manager.
The Desigual show could be seen live via the brand’s website and on social networks Twitter and Instagram.
Desigual is present in 109 countries with over 450 retail stores, 11,000 multi-brand stores, and 2,500 corner concessions in department stores. In 2013 it sold over 28 million garments worldwide through its different sales channels, says the company.
