Lionsgate Launches Global Casting Search for Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura in Live-Action Film

Lionsgate and director Destin Daniel Cretton have launched a worldwide casting search for the lead roles of Naruto Uzumaki, Sasuke Uchiha, and Sakura Haruno in the highly anticipated live-action adaptation of the iconic manga series. The open call targets young actors to portray Team 7’s core shinobi as the project advances in pre-production. Additional casting for supporting characters will follow.

The live-action Naruto film, based on Masashi Kishimoto’s globally beloved manga and anime franchise, is moving forward with an ambitious global talent search. Lionsgate, in partnership with filmmaker Destin Daniel Cretton—known for directing Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings and the upcoming Spider-Man: Brand New Day—is actively seeking the three young leads who will bring Team 7 to life on the big screen.
