Michael Jackson: The Journey traces Jackson’s modest childhood beginnings and transformation from boyhood sensation to the King of Pop.
Jackson was born August 29th, 1958, in Gary, Indiana into a Jehovah’s Witness family of a steel mill working father and stay-at-home mother, with nine brothers and sisters.
Standing out amongst his siblings, Michael rose to international fame and fortune with the release of the best-selling album of all time, Thriller in 1984.
With an estimated 750 million records sold worldwide, 13 number one singles and 13 GRAMMY’s, Michael received the moniker, “King of Pop.”
